DIRECTIONS
GLEN EDEN
PILOT PARK
1. Take I-40 East to Raleigh;
exit Wade Ave. (Exit 289)
2. Drive under I-440 (Beltline) and turn left at signal on to
Ridge Road (at Ridgewood Shopping Center).
3. At the second light, turn left on to Glen Eden Drive.
4. Cross the bridge (I-440 Beltline) at the bottom of the hill;
then make the next right into Glen Eden Pilot Park.
DUKE LOWER
SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN
1. Take NC 147 (Durham Freeway);
exit Swift Ave.
2. Turn right if going south; left if going north (e.g., away
from Duke East Campus).
3. Turn right on to Hull Ave.; which is one block away.
EDISON
JOHNSON RECREATION CENTER
1. From within Durham, take Duke St. north (or from I-85, exit
Duke St. [501 Bypass] and go north).
2. Turn right on to Murray Ave. and go 1/4 mile (past park on
right)
3. Turn left into Edison Johnson driveway and park beyond the
pool. The dance center is on the left within the courtyard of
the Center.
PLEASANT
GREEN COMMUNITY CENTER
1. Take I-85 west through Durham; exit Cole Mill Road (Exit
170).
2. Travel 4-5 miles to Pleasant Green Road; then turn right.
3. Take the next right on to Pleasant Green Community Center
Road. The dance hall is 1/4 mile on the left.
